Great ambiance. Service was top notch. Delicious lasagna for my birthday dinner. Dessert splurge - had tiramisu & a Chocolate Covered Orange Coffee. Excellent!! Hubby had shrimp and scallops and the creme brulee with an espresso martini. We used to visit LaScala and have been missing it. So glad we made the short trek north to Vittoria.
Vittoria is a cute restaurant that has a local love to the place. It seemed like there were regulars throughout the place. My favorite part is the bread and pesto oil - so good. The salad was fine. Nothing great nothing bad. I ordered the chicken Rosa. It was WAY cheesy. If you like that - this is for you. I was a little taken aback and felt I couldn't taste the chicken or Rosa sauce :( I would come back with family but it's a little out of the way from downtown.
An in town amazing experience. Such an adorable little place. I highly recommend. Awesome food. Great staff. Good wine (DUH)..we all know your girl loves wine. I will be back. I appreciate you being a local!! It's a perfect intimate scene with more special vibes inside. I recommend romance with this dinner or a special event. A nice reason to get dressed up.
Vittoria is PROBABLY my favorite Italian restaurant in Columbus area. If I look at other restaurants, they may do 1 thing better than Vittoria but if you look at the entire package Vittoria is very hard to beat. The Chicken / Veal Rosa is TOUGH to beat. The food is excellent. Menu variety is great. Service has always been very good. No complaints. Beautiful interior and very clean. The portions are large. The quality for the price is the best in the area. it seems most dishes are a couple dollars less than other comps. Only two concerns I have are: It can get quite loud in the restaurant. However, not to the point where it is affecting my experience. I would REALLY like to see them get more quality ice for their cocktails. It's more of a chipped ice and water downs to quickly.
Set up a date night for my wife and I, she loves her Italian food, and so I wanted to do something a little nicer. Vittoria was smaller and busier than I thought it would be, so for sure make a reservation if you are going on a weekend. That being said, with our reservation we were seated immediately, and our service was wonderful. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive, and so kind! The owner of the restaurant also was making rounds to check on everyone and make sure their food and service were excellent. My wife got some chicken over pasta... delicious. I have the bone-in ribeye, delicious! The calamari was just okay, not great, which was disappointing because that was one of the recommendations from our server. The wine selection was nice. The bottle we wanted to order was sold-out, but she came back with another bottle with a similar taste profile and it was fantastic. All in all, a really great experience. Large portion sizes for the price, and delicious food. This would be 5 starts for me, but the room is just one giant room, and for me (this is a personal note), it takes away from some of the ambience of being on a "date" when I am out in the open with 100 other people. With the space they have, there probably isn't anything that can be done, but having some dimension to the room, and perhaps segmenting a bit, would create a more intimate experience. If you're looking for good Italian food - eat at Vittoria!
Always a nice place to eat if you are in the mood for a more upscale experience , of course that means alittle more pricey. The ambiance is very nice especially with the two fire places . The food is always great , I had the veal Marsala which was very good , I did tell the waitress that it wasn't very warm and she took it back and warmed it up and only charged me half the price. That's what I call customer service . I usually get the lamb chops but I found a place that's not nearly the price , and just as good so they may want to rethink their price on the lamb. They have a great bar with live music . The service is great . They also have a small patio
I haven't been to as much Italian Restaurant in Columbus, but I would recommend Vittoria. They are extremely busy and glad that I did the reservation. Super attentive server and the owner would be greeting every table. Love the hospitality. My favorite would be the Arancini Di Risotto. It is a hand rolled risotto balls stuffed with Fontinella cheese. The breading is super crispy and the cheese filling just melting inside. I like the cheese filing is mild and pair well with the house made red sauce. I would definitely need to come back as the seafood entrée option really catch my eye.
